We created Yello to help you easily connect with trusted local businesses and service providers. Please read the following sections to understand how we work and how we protect your information.
This Privacy Policy applies to both the Yello mobile application and our website. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the app and website.

- You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
- Please use Yello responsibly and only for its intended purpose — connecting with verified businesses and booking services.
- You're responsible for any information you share with businesses through chat or calls.
- Yello isn't directly responsible for service delivery or pricing — those details are agreed upon between you and the business.

- Keep your login details safe and don't share them with others.
- You can update or delete your account anytime in Profile → Account Settings.
- If you notice suspicious activity, contact our support team immediately.
privacy_tip Privacy and Data Protection
- We collect only the data needed to operate the app: your name, contact info, and activity within Yello.
- This data helps us improve recommendations and ensure better service matching.
- We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
- We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
- We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your Privacy Rights (Including California Residents)
- Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and request details about how your information is used or you may have a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (however, Yello does not sell or share personal information)

SMS Messages
If you provide your phone number and opt in, Yello may send you service-related SMS messages, such as:
- account verification (one-time codes).
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not send marketing/promotional SMS without your explicit consent. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message (or by updating your notification settings). After opting out, you may no longer receive SMS updates related to your account or bookings.

We may update these Terms and Policies occasionally to reflect improvements or comply with new regulations.
When we make changes, we'll notify you in the app and update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of Yello after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
